Liam Rice is the Senior Research Finance Analyst on the Innovation & Research Analytics team, overseeing data analytics for Mass General Brigham’s dynamic Innovation commercialization program. He has been with Mass General Brigham since 2022, previously serving as Senior Consultant, Financial Analysis & Business Planning for Brigham & Women’s Hospital focused on a portfolio of ambulatory, orthopaedics, and women’s health programs. Prior to joining Mass General Brigham, Liam held a multitude of roles in the Higher Education industry, being awarded the NASPA Richard F. Stevens Outstanding New Professional Award in 2021. A firm believer in the opportunities created at the intersection of technology and innovation, he’s served as the Founding Editor of the Journal of Technology & Higher Education: Emerging Practice and has presented at multiple academic conferences on early career professionalization and digital identity development. Liam conducted his education at Northeastern University (M.S., College Student Development and Counseling) and Bryant University (B.S, Applied Economics; B.A., Literary and Cultural Studies; dual minor in Finance and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies).
