Liza Heinig

Liza Heinig is a patent attorney, serving in a long-term secondment role as an IP Advisor with the IP Group of Mass General Brigham Innovation. She received her BS in mechanical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and her JD from the George Washington University School of Law. Liza is a partner with the Cleveland IP boutique firm of Tarolli, Sundheim, Covell & Tummino LLP and has been in her current role with the Innovation IP group since 2018.

Liza has worked for clients, ranging from solo inventors to Fortune 50 corporations. She is experienced at helping an inventor recognize and protect multiple aspects of an invention and considers inventor communication and education to be a highly rewarding facet of her work.
