Margie Coloian

Innovation Communications Manager

Margie Coloian leads communications and marketing for Ventures, including Brigham Ignite, Amplify, AIDIF, and the Summit Fund, and is part of the marketing team for the World Medical Innovation Forum. She is also responsible for promoting investigators throughout the system’s hospitals and the patients who benefit from their innovations by advancing news and media outreach.

 

A strategic healthcare/medical communicator throughout her career, Margie has led media relations, public relations, and communications for the medical think tank Lown Institute, founded by Nobel Peace Prize recipient Bernard Lown, MD, (late Brigham cardiologist and inventor of the direct current defibrillator); and for the international safety advocate NFPA.

 

She holds a master of science degree in journalism from Boston University and a bachelor of science degree in journalism and public relations from Suffolk University.
